My Algorithm is Mullered!

Counteracting the manosphere has ruined what I see online.

This was a quote from me as part of The Times article last week about men on Instagram challenging the proliferation of unhelpful and unhealthy masculinities in the wake of the Louis Theroux documentary.

Helen Rumbelow spoke to me about my work in schools, abut why I do what I do in relation to violence against women and girls and unhelpful masculinities alongside other initiatives like Pints and Ponytails. She sought out men who were working to counteract the dominant and algorithmically-driven narratives about what ‘being a REAL man’ is and how ‘feminism’s gone too far and other popular myths that come from men shouting into microphones.
